Mom seemed comfortable this morning. She was on the machine, which was moving her left leg. Because her congestion is still hanging around, they will try again tomorrow to extubate her. Her temperature is down to normal and the swelling in her legs is beginning to go down. They are still waiting for the swelling to go down, so they can finish up her remaining surgeries (left foot, right ankle).
We'll go see her again later. In the meantime, we have calls to make to follow-up on insurance stuff.
More later.

Jennifer,
Laurie told me about this blog. She has been keeping us informed about Sheryl's progress. We just can't believe this happened and on a day that started out to be so wonderful! We are praying for her every day and I put here on a couple of Texas prayer chains too. I will look on the blog every opporunity. Please tell her we love her very much. She has always been so supportive to me and to Norman.
Keep your chin up, Jennifer. I know you must hurt for your Mom. God bless you both.

HI Jen;
Looks like your healing touch is working. It's good to hear that the swelling is going down and that the Dr.can proceed with the surgeries. It's also good to see you,Geoff and Heather keeping your sense of humor too. Laughter is good medicine! Don't forget to add hair on top of her cast..lol Love to all. Rhonda
Jennifer -
I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know.

Jennifer,
God NEVER gives us more than we can handle, NEVER! You are & always have been an incredibly powerful, passionate, loving woman & now your mom & you get to see that side of you. I have prayers going here for you & your family & am always available to talk 24/7. I have no doubt that your intention is clear & your mom will come thru this just fine. We love you & miss you in Indy!
